We’re in the final day of the Kickstarter for Briar Bay! Just ten more hours, really. The campaign ends at midnight CST tonight. If you’ve been on the fence about backing, now’s the time to decide!
Doing Morktober last fall led to the production of an entire setting that we’re currently crowdfunding as part of Zine Month. We’re fully funded and just a few backers away from hitting the next stretch goal!
Comes with:
- An illustrated field guide to Briar Bay narrated by the Bard Bartelme.
- A hexcrawl of Briar Bay.
- A toolkit to design your own hexcrawl, adventures, and dungeons.
- Five Factions!
- Ten Unique Illustrated Monsters!
- NPCs!
- Tables!
- Songs!
Briar Bay is a fantasy setting designed for Mork Borg and other OSR TTRPGs inspired by fairy tales, folklore, Le Mort d’Arthur, and surreal swords & sorcery. Expect the bizarre and the black, the whimsical and the wyrd.
We’re closing in on our first Stretch Goal right now:
- $350 – Add an intro adventure into the zine – UNLOCKED
- $600 – Create and add a Trifold adventure about the Cursed Weapons of Briar Bay
- $800 – Create and add a Bookmark adventure
- $1,000 – Create and add a mini-campaign for the Briar Bay hexcrawl
As a bit of a taster for that trifold adventure, Tony made some great art and I provided a poem.

I hope you check it out, spread the word, and back now! Even if you’re not interested in playing this as a game, I think it will make for a cool art object and even a bit of literature.
