What is Broken Katana?
It’s the omnibus collection of these first three novels in my Howl series, which will include a fourth, as yet unpublished novel. You’ll be receiving all four of these books in one convenient package in paperback or hardcover.
But for those just joining us, here’s a bit of background.
Two outcasts make their way from the primordial forest of giant wolves, mutants, and monsters until they run into Lady Agova, a giantess, who leads them on a vampire hunt, and then onto the megacity Avalon, where she plots to tear the world apart.
It started with a bit of fun. A dare. I was challenged to finish a novel and have it ready for publication in 6 weeks. Now, that may sound like quite the herculean feat, but I am quite the herculean fella, at least when it comes to writing.
Thus and so, Howl was born. Over the following few months, I wrote two sequels, Iron Wolf and Broken Katana, which were released the following year. These went on to become my most successful and popular books, selling thousands of copies across the series. But this was way back in 2023. The people have been waiting for the conclusion to this story of two outcasts who made their way out of the primordial forest full of giant wolves, to meet Lady Agova, our iconic giantess, who took them on a vampire hunt and eventually to the megacity Avalon.
But now is the time to finally conclude the first arc of this story! It’s funny because I just had the plot of the fifth book leap into my head last week, so while the story has sat around untouched for a few years, the future is looking bright!
I’m hoping for a nice healthy launch so do check out the campaign! For the first 48 hours, I’m offering a 10% discount on the signed hardcover edition as well. So go check it out!
