They sit ever on in silence
Bodies caught behind Death’s door
How they danced, how they sang?
However did they live and die?
So long ago the oaths they swore
Locked in quiet compliance
In defiance at Time’s long shore
What spell was woven and by who?
Lord and Lady, who killed them two?
