I’m going to try daily to write something for Morktober. Often these will probably be poems, so come stop by daily to see what I’m up to. All prompts are based off Exeunt Press.

Not every poem needs to be big and grand. Sometimes a short vicious fella is all you need.
Thorn
Wrap them tight in cord of thorn
Tattoo their skin with seeping blood
And watch their women loudly mourn
Drop their men back to the mud
We shall sing old songs stillborn
While their rotting bloodrivers flood
Old oaths broken and new oaths sworn
Drenched in death and rotting blood
