For those just joining, here are the prompts I’m using: One here and one here.
Devoured by the Mountain / Scale
Long we lived in Mount Mercy’s shade
Among the glens and moors she made
There dwells the fiery Drake
Named Scale whose steps make the earth quake
A voice like thunder
He rips skies asunder
So fearsome, this wonder
His mighty scales we use as blades
His claws carry our crusades
Such gifts we harvest from dear Scale
And turn our lives into a tale
A voice like thunder
He rips skies asunder
So fearsome, this wonder
Through fear and death came love and rest
Our lives stretch long, by Scale we’re blessed
And ever shall we name him best
Of all Drakes, we hold thee to our breast.
